Marc Quinn (1964) is a British contemporary visual artist whose work includes sculpture, installation and painting. Quinn explores 'what it is to be human in the world today' through subjects including the body, genetics, identity, environment and the media.
An illustration from a book published in 1998 to raise awareness and funds for a campaign in support of a worldwide ban on anti-personnel landmines.
Each page of the book featured an artwork by a celebrity of the day with each carrying a facsimile signature. This artwork however is taken from one of just 50 deluxe copies that were hand signed by the artists.
This image by Quinn has been boldly signed and framed to museum standards.
