Howard Hodgkin

Sir Gordon Howard Eliot Hodgkin was a British painter and printmaker. His work is most often associated with abstraction.

As a student, Hodgkin explored various printmaking processes including screen-printing, lithography, collage, etching and hand colouring.

Howard Hodgkin’s first solo exhibition was in 1962, London.
