Patrick Caulfield

Patrick Caulfield, CBE, RA (1936 – 2005), was an English painter and printmaker known for his bold canvases, which often incorporated elements of photorealism within a pared-down scene. He came to prominence in the mid-1960s after studying at the Royal College of Art where fellow students included David Hockney
