Feona Ness comes from a background in design which developed into a passion for painting. She works directly from the environment, inspired by light, weather patterns, moods and colours.
Her oil paintings are semi abstract but firmly rooted in the tradition of landscape painting.
Her new body of work seeks to explore the phenomenon of visual indeterminacy, where images are sensorially vivid yet with sometimes only vaguely recognisable content, through the use of colour, texture and form.
Feona has exhibited throughout the U.K. and Europe.
